In a recent interview, James Haven Voight, Angelina Jolie’s brother, has expressed his concern regarding her dramatic weight loss after the death of their mother, Marcheline Bertrand, two months ago.

Angie has become very thin because she’s grieving. It’s even difficult for her to eat. I keep saying to her, ‘Don’t forget to eat’.

Here’s a few pictures of Angelina with Brad Pitt and their two daughters Shiloh and Zahara in New Orleans at the beginning of March. She’s looking skinnier than ever before.

I don’t want to be mean, but do you REALLY believe that these photos are real and the other pictures where she looks much fatter are photoshopped???

Looks like the mean comments about her weight gain have upset Tyra Banks, so she decided to lose weight and be thin again. Here she is on January 20 at the 2007 Producers Guild Awards.
She definitely doesn’t look as in her modeling days, but she looks much better in these pictures than in those famous fat swimsuit ones.
(What I don’t like is her wig.)

Yesterday my blog has received a lot of traffic to the post called “Tyra Banks is FAT” and some site claimed that Tyra Banks herself is upset by the fact that these pictures of her were published (and of course by the comments they got), so I’d like to clarify a few things.

First of all, I was not the only one, nor the first one who published these pictures. They are apparently scanned from a magazine (I don’t know which one).

Secondly - I honestly thought that in those pictures she wore a “fat suit” (read this article). That was the only reason I called her “fat” and made comments about her weight (that, and of course the fact that she is part of the industry that glorifies thinness). I still have absolutely no idea if she really gained weight or not.

I just want to make it clear for anyone (and for Tyra too, if she happens to read this blog) that I don’t care about her weight, she can be as underweight or as overweight as she likes, but she is a celebrity (a MODEL) and people will always make comments about her weight, whether she likes it or not.

21-year-old British actress Keira Knightley has sued Associated Newspapers, publisher of the Daily Mail, for an January 11 article, that she claims suggested that she has anorexia and is responsible for the death of a teenage girl from this eating disorder.

Her lawyer made the following statements:

“The article made reference to what it perceived to be Ms. Knightley’s very slim appearance.”
It “carried a photograph of Ms. Knightley, taken without her consent, whilst wearing a bikini and relaxing on a beach on holiday.”
“The article then reported the recent, tragic death of a teenage girl who suffered from anorexia and contained an interview with the girl’s mother.”
“Ms. Knightley has publicly denied suggestions that she might be anorexic or have a similar eating disorder.”
