Tori Spelling in white dress

Tori Spelling is steaming mad about the fuss that’s being made over her scary-skinny frame.

“Oh my God, I’m not anorexic - I acknowledge that I look thin in photos, I get it,” she told People magazine.

“Obviously I don’t want to lose any more weight, but people haven’t seen me not pregnant in two and a half years — I’m eating healthy, I just have a crazy lifestyle.”

She’s used this excuse a few too many times. I really don’t care how busy she is. Driving your kids from home to day-care twice a day doesn’t burn THAT many calories.

“I’m so blessed to have as many jobs that I have, but I’m the first to admit that sometimes I don’t have the time to sit down for a well-balanced meal,” she adds. “Usually like you kind of just finish whatever your child doesn’t eat. I’m like, ‘Cool, you have a few pieces of hot dog left and one broccoli floret and a fry, I’ll take it.’

Here’s a suggestion, Tori: instead of picking off your kid’s plate, why not ask whoever is cooking her meals to whip you up a little something of your own?

“I want to be a positive role model for my daughter. The last thing I want to put out there is that it’s acceptable to be too thin or have an eating disorder because you’re in Hollywood.” [Source]

How Tori Spelling expects anyone to believe this hocus-pocus is beyond me. If you really want your kid to grow up healthy and happy, Tori, you’re gonna have to do some growing up yourself real soon.

Tori Spelling is dictionary definition of scary-skinny

Tori Spelling finally got around to launching her new tell-all book the other night and she revealed a lot more than folks were expecting. The “90210″ star is looking so skinny these days, it’s hard to believe the poor girl ever gave birth to either of her children.

Dressed in an emerald green babydoll dress, the 35-year-old cut a rather sinewy figure compared to the healthier look she unveiled back in January when she unveiled her post-baby body.

The pictures are even more worrying as the low weight of Tori’s very thin young co-stars have sparked fears for their health.

One US magazine cover showed the new stars of 90210, Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup at a showbiz event looking extremely thin.

A source told Us Magazine: ‘The girls were all skinny when they started, but they’re definitely thinner now.’

It appears that Tori, who appeared in the original show may be feeling some pressure to keep up with its new young stars. [Source]

Tori is probably putting all of this pressure on herself. Maybe it’s time for a reality check. She’s got two small kids and a husband who seems to love her—isn’t all that worth more than a role on some lame show that nobody even cares about anymore?

Tori Spelling blames weight loss on stress

Tori Spelling has shed her pregnancy weight and then some. According to some reports, Spelling has lost more than 40 pounds since February. I’m not exactly sure how that’s even possible—considering how thin she already was—but I suppose in Hollywood, there’s always more weight to lose.

Despite her perky persona when out in public, Spelling’s rapid weight loss is apparently due in large part to the stress of her estranged relationship with mother Candy. Last year the “90210? starlet released a tell-all book about her famous family’s secrets and now her mother has bitten back and divulged even more in “Candyland,” which hit bookstores last month.

“I took so much crap for so long; I needed to get the truth out there so I was brutally honest,” Tori recently told Tarts regarding her controversial publication. “But I don’t really know what this will do to my relationship with my mother. It’s a grey area we don’t talk about — but it’s been a very complicated 34 years. People still perceive me as this little rich girl which isn’t the case, but they prefer that conception no matter what I say.”

According to a source close to Spelling, she hasn’t enlisted any crazy diets or weight loss schemes but is running and diligently watching everything she eats — but her fragile frame still has friends a little concerned. In February Spelling told Us Weekly that she does feel the “pressure” to be thin in Tinseltown and found that losing the lard was much easier after the second pregnancy. [Source]

Tori Spelling is onto something

Tori Spelling on the set of 90210

I have to hand it to Tori Spelling. I always thought she was just another dumb blond Hollywood insider made famous through the power of nepotism and turned beautiful by the knife, but it so happens that Tori is also a serious intellect, a renaissance thinker, and a very astute social critic. She has decided that the Hollywood machine (of which she is a massive, clanking cog) is to blame for the current “skinny” actress trend. Wow. I’m completely blown away by Tori’s amazing critical thinking abilities.

“They scrutinize you so much. You try to be the person who says, `Oh, I don`t care,` but I feel the pressure.”

Even Tori Spelling, the Stephen Hawking of Beverly Hills, feels the pressure, people. And if she can’t rise above it, is there any hope for Jessica Simpson?

Tori Spelling is wasting away

Just seven months after giving birth to her daughter Stella (via C-section in June), Tori Spelling has already lost all her baby weight, and then some. The shrinking 35-year-old actress is getting ready to appear on the new “90210“, so the pressure to lose weight and look like all her other super-skinny co-stars must have been great.

In case you were wondering what Tori did to lose all that weight so quickly, she shared her “secrets” to In Touch magazine - of course she says her diet was healthy, and she even claims not counting calories!

How much did you gain while pregnant with Stella?
I gained 50. I lost 10 pounds instantly and then another 40.

What was your diet like while losing the weight?
Breakfast was yogurt, fruit and nuts. Lunch was homemade soup with a sweet potato or soy milk base. We’d snack on celery and peanut butter, and then I’d make lean protein with vegetables for dinner.

How many calories did you eat a day?
I never counted. I just ate healthy.

What about exercise?
I would go for long walks or biking with the kids. We’d do physical activities every day.

How does it feel being back in a bikini?
I’m proud! I could’ve gotten here sooner if I was fanatical and worked out extensively every day, but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m so happy I did it with my family and in a healthy way.

Tori Spelling hasn’t lost her baby fat yet!

Pregnant Tori Spelling releases autobiography “sTori Telling”

Pregnant Tori Spelling releases autobiography book sTori Telling

Pregnant Tori Spelling launched her autobiography book “sTori Telling” in New York City yesterday (March 11).

In this book, Tori is revealing some personal details from her life (like the fact that her father Aaron Spelling only left her $800,000 of his estimated $500 million fortune when he passed away).

sTORI Telling is Tori’s chance to finally tell her side of the tabloid-worthy life she’s led, and she talks about it all: her decadent childhood birthday parties, her nose job, her fairy-tale wedding to the wrong man, her so-called feud with her mother. Tori has already revealed her flair for brilliant, self-effacing satire on her VH1 show So NoTORIous and Oxygen’s Tori & Dean: Inn Love, but her memoir goes deeper, into the real life behind the rumors: her complicated relationship with her parents; her struggles as an actress after 90210; her accident-prone love life; and, ultimately, her quest to define herself on her own terms.

I was never such a big fan of Tori Spelling, but this book sounds like a really interesting read (besides, celebrity autobiographies have always fascinated me). I just ordered it today from Amazon, and can’t wait to get it and read it!
