I still find it difficult to hyphenate her last name but Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz were photographed at the MTV Australia Awards last week looking very much in love. Ashlee was also looking super skinny in a sassy black dress. To dispel rumors that she and hubby Wentz are having some marital trouble, they decided to make out a bit for the audience.

Showing off her svelte post-baby body in a thigh-skimming black mini dress, Simpson-Wentz explained she had been busy with “some acting work going on and just being a mom” before instructing the crowd to “grab the person next to you.”

Making good on her own instruction, she and her beau exited the stage holding hands before returning minutes later to kiss passionately for several minutes before the cheering crowd. Wentz, 29, his hands wrapped around his wife’s lower back, then told the audience, “Sorry, we haven’t seen each other in a while. We’re going to go and find some quiet time and fornicate somewhere.” [Source]

Um…gross. Fornicate? Someone must be studying for the SATs. Feels a bit like they were trying too hard to prove something but I hope the happy couple can make it all work and get a perfect score on their verbal.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted out and about with Samantha Ronson yesterday and while some folks think she’s looking better these days, it’s pretty much same ol’ same ol’ to me. But you be the judge—is Lindsay back on track or still derailed?

There’s something kinda gross about Lindsay’s outfit. It’s just a little too sloppy to be cool.

Lindsay still hasn’t bested GF Sam Ronson in the ongoing Battle of the Twiglets but if she keeps up with the smoking, she just might.

Reports in Page Six have Scarlett Johansson looking super skinny in a black cocktail dress at an event in London the other day. It would be sad if Scarlet lost her crazy curves but it’s entirely possible that the poor girl is growing up and dropping her baby fat. Then again, the article does have her admitting to some weird new diet.

Scary-Skinny housewife/natural-foods whiz Bethenny Frankel wants everyone to look like her. The Real Housewives of New York star just launched her new book and I’m sure she’s hoping that millions of women will at least try to stick to her plan. Doesn’t look like she’s offering a money back guarantee if they don’t.

I will admit that this woman scares the hell out of me but I’m curious about her book. I don’t necessarily EVER want to look like Bethenny but I’m thinking the weight-loss tome might include some decent recipes.

Heidi Klum claims she doesn’t understand the controversial US dress size zero, saying it “makes no sense”. She doesn’t think size zero exists. The German supermodel has criticized the controversial US dress size - equivalent to a UK dress size 4 or a European size 32. When asked her views about the size zero debate, Heidi said:

“A size zero? I’ve never heard of that. That didn’t exist when I was growing up. When did that start? What does it mean? It means a person is not there, no? It makes no sense.”

The dress size has caused a outcry, with some models who can fit into size zero clothes being branded dangerously underweight. Models with a body mass index of less than 18.5, many of whom were size zero, were also banned from Madrid fashion week in 2006.

Heidi, who raises three children with singer husband Seal, also recently denied she would consider having any plastic surgery. Speaking at a 50th birthday party for children’s toy doll Barbie, 35-year-old Heidi said:

“I hope that when I reach 50 I look as good as Barbie does, but I don’t think I’d go for surgery. I think I’m going to get older with wrinkles - a few of them here and there.”

You know the ol’ chestnut about a picture being worth a thousand words? Well, the photos of Lindsay Lohan looking scary-skinny in Nylon magazine pretty much make my job completely obsolete, at least for this post. And I’m thinking, based on the following comment from Linds, that this was the desired result.

There’s not much I can do about the fact that I’ve become a kind of tabloid obsession.  I can’t change that.  And yes, the websites, the gossip pages, and all of that stuff have hurt my career – they’re like the Burn Books of Hollywood… but I really don’t feel like I should have to prove myself to anyone because of living out my college years in the public eye.  I’m glad everything happened the way it did. So that’s that. I’ve hurt Lindsay Lohan’s career and as revenge, she’s rendered me sorta worldess. What could I possibly write that would be equally as horrifying as the image above? Perhaps you have some suggestions.

Mischa Barton is embarking on a calorific diet as demanded by her latest role as “model-type” Sonia in new US TV show ‘A Beautiful Life’. Mischa has been told to gain weight to keep her role. Former ‘The O.C.’ actress, Mischa has agreed to pile on the pounds after producers raised concerns about her skinny frame.

Mischa is understood to only be allowed to keep her part of Sonia, a model in ‘A Beautiful Life’, if she can keep her weight up. A source said:

“The producers are very mindful that their target audience is teenage girls so it’s important not to send the wrong message. “Mischa has the part on condition she does not lose weight - they want her to put weight on if she can.”

Concerns were raised last year after the 23-year-old actress was pictured looking gaunt. She previously said she is “obsessed with Pilates”, but was quick to dismiss any concerns over her weight on her blog. She wrote:

“Just so you guys know, I’m happier and healthier than ever. I’ve just been watching what I eat. “I still love my Pilates and yoga, and have cut back on fatty foods a bit. My time in India and Paris really just helped me lose a little bit of weight but there’s nothing drastic going on.”

With her legal problems all sorted, Lindsay Lohan spent the majority of Monday afternoon focusing on more pressing issues like putting food into her system. The spray-tan and leggings huckster was seen around town yesterday taking care of a variety of food related business.

Out and about in Los Angeles sans Samantha Ronson,  Lindsay Lohan was spotted grabbing some lunch with a friend yesterday afternoon (March 13).

The “Mean Girls” cutie looked to be enjoying herself as she dined at a Beverly Hills eatery, doing her best to ignore the swarming paparazzi.

LiLo also made a stop at Gelsons market in Hollywood to pick up some groceries while she was out, selecting a few items before heading out to her brand new Maserati. [Source]
