Now, this is weird. Rupert Everett has basically completely reinvented himself. The actor is in New York doing a Broadway play right now and unveiled his new look on a recent episode of The Martha Stewart show.

According to Dr. Brian S. Glatt, founder of the Premier Plastic Surgery Center of New Jersey, Rupert, 49, has had a comprehensive series of facial procedures. “I think Rupert had a face-lift,” Dr. Glatt tells Star. “His cheeks are fuller and lifted, and his jawline and neck are pulled back and smoother.”

As for his forehead, Dr. Glatt says it’s simply Botox. “I think he’s definitely using it. He is very animated, and there are no lines visible on his forehead.”

The last element in Rupert’s new look, says Dr. Glatt, is a chin implant! “The shape and projection of the chin is drastically different. It’s much more pointed,” he says.

In all, the surgeries could have set Rupert back almost $25,000!

But it was worth it. Dr. Glatt, who has not treated the actor, observes, “This is an impressive difference. He looks 10 years younger!” [Source]

Sure, he looks younger. He looks like a younger, completely different person. I don’t know how people can get this amount of surgery and then wake up every morning, look at themselves in the mirror and think, “yep, that’s me!” Why do we all hate ourselves so much?

Real Houswife Jill Zarin is taking a load off. I never realized her boobs were so big but apparently they were and Zarin was fed up. The reality TV star opted for reduction surgery and sounds pretty happy about her choice.

Jill Zarin ended up getting a breast reduction surgery recently, cutting her G-cups down to…well, something smaller. She said she feels 20 pounds lighter. Bravo and Jill were trying to keep it a secret so they could reveal it on the next season of Real Housewives of New York, but the secret slipped out. [Source]

Don’t these people know that when you opt to expose your life on national TV, your rights to privacy go right out the window? Zarin and her cronies don’t get to keep secrets anymore and the quicker they come to terms with that, the better.

I feel kind of bad posting this picture of Melanie Griffith because it looks so sad and awful. But it’s a wonderful lead-in to this titillating tid-bit. Griffith is going to be appearing on “Nip/Tuck” soon, playing Kimber’s mother, Brandie.

Brandie will be joined by Les, her too-tan, on-again-off-again car-salesman boyfriend of six years. Les, played by Robin Thomas (Another World, Who’s the Boss), ignites insta-hate from Christian (Julian McMahon). Audrina Patridge is vehemently denying rumors that she’s had both her nose and her chin “enhanced.” Patridge, of “The Hills” fame, recently won a ShoWest Award for her role in “Sorority Row” and had this to say on the subject of her allegedly altered face:

“People think I’ve got my nose done. My chin done. I just laugh at it. I’m just losing my baby fat - everyone grows up and changes.”

“There’s always rumors. People are always going to point things out and it’s entertainment. It’s funny. Doesn’t bother me. Goes in one ear, out the other. I read it, forget it.” [Source]

I’ve given up asking why Michael Jackson does the things he does. These days I just accept Jacko for the wacko that he is. Still, it’s a bit worrisome that he’s planning to go under the knife again right before his final tour. From the looks of him, it doesn’t seem like Michael’s nose is going to be able to stand any more work.

The Insider is reporting that Michael Jackson may be considering having more plastic surgery prior to his big concert series swan song in London.

Jackson wants to go under the knife again, according to biographer Ian Halperin. He says, “Michael has consulted some of the world’s best cosmetologists and surgeons in preparation for this comeback.” [Source]

Claudia Schiffer is growing old gracefully. Or so she claims. But as with many an aging super beauty, it’s difficult to tell just by looking at Claudia. Perhaps she’s found the perfect doctor—a press shy magician with a Botox needle and a steady hand. Maybe Claudia really is committed to experiencing the aging process with dignity.

She says in an interview, “It’s poison in my skin and no one knows the long-term effects. I’m far more scared of that than a wrinkle on my forehead.”

New York City plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer, “Claudia adamantly denies using Botox and I believe her - it is obvious. She has mild transverse wrinkles in her forehead and vertical wrinkles in her glabella. Additionally, I do not think she has had other facial injections either. She has moderate nasolabial creases, even at rest. This, obviously, is not all bad - she is naturally beautiful and does not need these supplemental procedures to shine.”

Not that Claudia is immune to aging, or being concerned about it. In the same interview, the supermodel says, “All of my friends are my age and we are all aging at the same time; we talk about it and moan, but it doesn’t bother me.” [Source]

Demi Moore is hell bent to stop a woman having cosmetic surgery to look like her. Lisa Connell, 29, plans to spend £40,000 on cosmetic surgery so she can resemble the actress. And the star has reached out to her on social networking site Twitter. Demi wrote:

‘Wish I could contact this woman Lisa Connell who wants to have surgery to look like me and encourage her to not to!, She is a beautiful girl!’

Lisa plans to have liposuction, a breast enhancement, an eyebrow lift and work on her skin and teeth shortly after she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2006. She tells

‘People think I’m crazy for doing this, but I know it will make my last months or years happier. When I was young I used to watch Demi Moore in films like Ghost and I longed to look like her.’

‘I want to die beautiful, so this is my way of taking back control of my body.’

Glamour model Jordan has promised to stop having Botox, collagen and filler and has vowed not to go under the knife again. Jordan, real name Katie Price, has temporarily moved to the States with husband Peter Andre, 35, and their kids while they film their ITV2 reality show.

Jordan, 30, says she is shocked that she no longer stands out from the crowd.

‘Everyone seems to have had plastic surgery, it’s an absolute joke, But it’s made me realise it is time for me to stop having work done to my face.

‘All the women look identical. They have the same lips, noses and frozen expressions and it’s not attractive. So I’ve promised to stop having Botox, collagen and fillers.’

Jordan had a breast reduction, nose job and was fitted with new veneers in December 2007.
