Nicole Richie looks like a total earth mother in her flowing skirt and braided hair. She’s carrying that baby so low, however, it looks like she could give birth at any second. Here’s hoping that baby number two hangs on for a little longer. We wouldn’t want he/she/it to come out undercooked.

Nicole Richie is not big enough for people to even be wondering if she’s having twins, and yet everyone’s buzzing about the potential double-bun in Richie’s wee oven. Nicole made a funny (or tried to anyway) at a recent fundraising event for UNICEF and her own Richie-Madden Foundation.

“I have twins!” she told reporters, as she gestured to Joel and Benji Madden, who were by her side at the Sony Cierge-sponsored event. “People popped out of me yesterday.”

One multiple-birth story she didn’t want to address? Octomom. Nic, casual and chic in a flowing, tie-dyed dress, had no comment on new mother of eight Nadya Suleman. [Source]

Well, if Nicole is pregnant with eight babies she will, at the very least, be able to support them financially. I guess we’ll see in plus/minus six months.

This is what an expectant mom is supposed to look like. Nicole Richie is showing and I must say, she does look like she’s enjoying herself, unlike a certain pouty-puss down below who shall remain nameless and may or may not be pregnant but regardless, doesn’t look so glowing to me…but I digress. Here’s another of Nicole.

Nicole Richie seems to be taking her weight in stride these days. She managed not to hate herself through her pregnancy and now she’s pregnant again so she must really be OK with gaining some chub. That’s the good news. The bad news is that she’s equally OK with wasting away to a skeletal size negative whatever.

In a recent interview with UK Glamour, Nicole brushed off remembrances of her scary-skinny phase like so much dandruff on a bony shoulder—which she would undoubtedly brush off with a bit more self-loathing.

“People get 10lb heavier, 10lb lighter, but 10lb is a lot on me. People do it all the time. Get a little too heavy, get a little too thin. And I had a moment when I was too thin. But I don’t think that’s much different to anyone else,” she said. [Source]

It’s not much different than anyone else caught up in the Hollywood thin machine but for the real world, yeah, it’s different, honey.

It’s official. Nicole Richie is giving baby Harlow a younger sibling. Joel Madden posted the good news on Good Charlotte’s official blog on Saturday night.

“What’s better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family.”

Nicole Richie effortlessly pulled off her trademark Boho chic style on Thursday (May 22), when she picked up a few items from the Radioshack store in Beverly Hills.
