Here are a few pictures of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen at the “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday night (May 5th). For once, Ashley looks thinner than Mary-Kate (but it’s probably just that gold dress MK was wearing that was making her look so big).

Mary-Kate Olsen has been staying pretty much out of the spotlight lately, so we haven’t seen any new pictures of her in a while. But yesterday (April 28, 2008) she made an appearance at the Chanel Dinner Party during the Tribeca Film Festival.

Her outfit is a little weird (even for MK!), but she seems a lot healthier, don’t you think?

I’ve seen pictures of Ashley Olsen sunbathing in panties before, but I think this is the first time I see Mary-Kate in a bikini too!

These candids (taken in Australia) are blurry, but you can clearly see how tiny both of them are.

National Enquirer’s latest issue is claiming that money is tearing apart the Olsen twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley are supposedly battling over their $1 Billion fortune.

Knowing how “reliable” the National Enquirer is, I tend not to believe a word of this, but… who knows, it might actually be true!?

Hugh Hefner wants the Olsen twins to pose for Playboy.

The 81-year-old men’s magazine mogul - who originally asked the twins to model for him when they turned 18 three years ago - but was turned down - hopes the girls will accept his invitation to appear in a special June edition of his adult publication to mark their 22nd birthday.

A source said: “Hugh thinks the twins are every young man’s fantasy. But it might not be that easy getting them agree to pose for Playboy. They’re all about high-end fashion these days. They want to do Vogue.” [Showbiz Spy]

The Hef also wants Lindsay Lohan to appear naked in his magazine, recreating Marilyn Monroe’s famous naked swim from her “Something’s Got to Give” movie. Convincing Lindsay to strip naked again should be no problem (she’s probably dying to pose for Playboy!), but I hope he’s well aware that the Olsen twins will never do that!
