Christina Ricci graces the cover of the May issue of French magazine L’Officiel. I don’t know when the photoshoot took place, but she looks lovely in these pictures!

Even though three weeks ago, at the “Speed Racer” premiere, Christina was looking beautiful and radiant, the Daily Mail has posted a recent candid picture of her looking overtanned and very gaunt. Let’s hope she only had a bad day, and that she’ll be back to her beautiful (and healthy) self the next time we see her!

Scarlett Johansson is the cover girl for Nylon magazine’s June/July 2008 issue (the music issue). The 23-year-old actress, who has just released her debut album “Anywhere I Lay My Head” last week, talked about her music, her relationship with Ryan Reynolds (who she recently got engaged to) and her support for Barack Obama.

ON AVOIDING A POP ALBUM:
I guess this was the equivalent of making an independent film as opposed to a huge studio production. And I think that it was important that it had a certain kind of attention and that it didn’t get lost in a huge mix of things.

ON EVERYONE BEING SUSPICIOUS ABOUT HER ALBUM:
I don’t understand it. I know a lot of writers who take pictures, or makeup artists who paint, or sculptors who make jewelry, all kinds of stuff – so what’s so surprising about an actor who sings?

Here’s yet another of those “best and worst bikini bodies” magazine covers (if you’re curious about the others, check out the magazine category archive).

Star magazine features 55 of the best and worst beach bodies in Hollywood - among the best, there’s Britney Spears, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson. Some of the worst include Sarah Jessica Parker, Phoebe Price (the “guess who” on the right) and another one that I can’t identify (the other “guess who” at the middle bottom - can you help me with that?).

Here’s yet another tabloid cover about “stars with cellulite”. The National Enquirer published some new bikini pictures of celebrities showing off their dimpled thighs and legs - Mischa Barton, Janice Dickinson, Cindy Crawford and Ellen DeGeneres. I know the one on the left with the “Guess who?” caption is Phoebe Price, but does anyone know who’s the one on the bottom right?

Elisha Cuthbert, “the screen goddess next door”, is on the cover of Maxim magazine’s May 2008 issue (The Ultimate Movie Issue). Here’s an excerpt of her interview with the magazine, where she talks about her new movie “My Sassy Girl” (that I can’t wait to see!):

The entire Maxim staff agreed “Old School” should be on our “300 Movies You Must See Before You Die!” list. Did you know all along it would become a classic?

I had no idea except for the fact that I was working with a phenomenal cast. Comedies are real fun, but I get so nervous that I don’t sleep.

Did Will Ferrell act crazy on set?

He was really reserved, but as soon as he got in front of a camera, he became a different person. I actually stole a few things from Frank the Tank for my new movie My Sassy Girl. My character is pretty much drunk the entire time.

Is that tough to pull off?

Playing drunk on-camera is difficult, but it’s also liberating. I remember wondering, “How can I do this without wanting to be drunk for real?”

Tell us why we should see this movie.

It’s a remake of one of the highest-grossing Korean films ever. It’s about a nice guy who falls in love with someone who’s a little bit crazy.

In the Korean version, there are some pretty wild scenes, ranging from sexy to gross. Are they here, too?

We don’t have the vomiting scene, but I did slap my poor costar Jesse Bradford in the face a few times. My character speaks her mind, which was fun to play, because I’m usually gentler with my words. It’s my Canadian nature. We’re generally polite and don’t like confrontation.

You may remember how a month ago OK! magazine claimed that Britney Spears has lost 15 lbs in just 4 weeks - to support their claims, they used a photo of Britney that was over four years old!

Now it’s Star magazine’s turn to announce that Britney Spears has lost 20 lbs in 30 days. They’re using some new bikini pictures of Britney on their cover, and it does seem she’s lost a little weight, but not as much as they claim!

There are rumors that Brit’s been seen hitting up the gym quite a lot lately (she’s preparing for another appearance on “How I Met Your Mother“) - but dropping 20 pounds in just 30 days seems a little bit unrealistic (not to mention very unhealthy)!
