Lindsay Lohan has actually managed to avoid showing up in court. Her people said she was going to skip out on the hearing and now she has. It more than just sort of sickens me when stars decide not to face the proverbial music.

A lawyer for Lindsay Lohan has appeared in court on her behalf to respond to a warrant for the actress’ arrest.

A Beverly Hills judge issued the warrant for the Mean Girls star (22) on Friday. Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said that she believes the warrant was issued as the result of a misunderstanding.

The district attorney’s office has linked the warrant to Lohan’s probation.

She was sentenced to three years’ probation following a pair of driving under the influence arrests in 2007. [Source]

I can’t wait to hear more about this supposed “misunderstanding.” Suppose we’ll all just have to sit tight until further news breaks.

Lindsay Lohan, the star everyone seems to hate, had a warrant issued for her arrest on Friday, March 13,2009. Apparently, this was connected to a prior DUI arrest from two years ago. To top it off, apparently there was a huge brawl at Sam’s house today and the police were called to the scene. According to eyewitnesses, at some point something was thrown through an upstairs window. All in all this has not been a good week for Ms. Lohan. However, according to her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley the charges of probation violation are unfounded and a simple misunderstanding.

Says the attorney: “Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the Court. The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week.”

While it may be fun for us to sit and make fun of this young lady’s problems, I think someone should step in and offer the girl some help. She is obviously in a toxic relationship and has apparent self esteem issues. All the signs are there. Lindsay obviously suffers from an eating disorder of some type, and apparently a drinking problem as well. [Source]

Because why not? Why not put your name on more stuff? I would if I my name was Lindsay Lohan. Her own leggings line isn’t enough—Lindsay wants to sell us spray tanner now. The product, named after Lindsay’s favorite numbers (huh?), is called Sevin Nyne and it will be available only at Sephora starting in April.

“It was important to me to have a natural product that didn’t have a lot of dyes and chemicals. Our product has goji berry extract which has antioxidant properties, it has a natural golden color, it doesn’t streak and smells delicious — not like a typical tanning product.” [Source]

I’m totally down with Lohan’s desire to create a safe, natural alternative to sun worshipping, but I really wish she’d taken the same care when selecting her publicity photos. The above makes her look like some kind of weird, elfin, CG porno character. Then again, I suppose a picture of what Lindsay actually looks like these days would not have jived with the Sevin Nyne mission.

How much skinny can one magazine cover take before it explodes right off the shelves? Apparently, Glamour might just find out. According to sources, Lindsay Lohan is steaming mad at Katie Holmes for snatching the April Glamour cover right out of her hands.

…the leggings entrepreneur/actress was expected to appear on the cover of the April edition of Glamour magazine, but instead the coveted cover went to Holmes.

“(Lohan) did this big Madonna-themed photo shoot and she was totally under the impression it would be the cover,” says the source. “Her Marilyn Monroe shoot for New York Magazine seemed to make her relevant when she did it, she thought the same would happen this time. Only she wasn’t on the cover, Katie was, and she’s mad at her now.”

But according to yet another source, all those Big Macs and cancer sticks must be going to Lindsay’s brain—getting on the cover was never a part of her deal with Glamour.

Holmes doesn’t seem to give a care or if she does then she’s keeping mum. Poor Lindsay. Let’s hope this cover wasn’t the only thing she’d been looking forward to.

Lindsay Lohan may be cutting herself or she may have some kind of weird wrist rash. There’s really no way to tell from these photos. Whatever is going on, however, the “Mean Girls” star appears to be pretty happy about it. That’s the biggest smile I’ve seen on Lindsay in weeks.

Lindsay Lohan was photographed with red marks on her wrist last night, reigniting rumours she self-harms. The actress revealed what appeared to be [fresh] cuts on her left arm as she chatted on her cell phone while being driven home by girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

This isn’t the first time Lindsay has been spotted with allegedly self-inflicted wounds.

…in September last year she showed up to the “Ugly Betty” premiere with a series of faint scars on her left arm. An unnamed source said at the time, “Lindsay has locked herself in the bathroom and cut herself in the past. Sam is aware of this and has hidden razors from Lindsay.

“Her parents found out that she was hurting herself again about two months ago and even started planning an intervention. But it never took place because Lindsay got wind of it and her mom, Dina, backed down.” [Source]

Dina really is a wimp, isn’t she? Oh well, maybe the scars are just a part of Lindsay’s initiation into whatever religion she’s courting these days. Regardless, everyone is in a tizzy and I guarantee you absolutely nothing will get done about the situation.

Lindsay Lohan is starting to look abused. This is not a shock since she is definitely abusing herself. Who knows if she’s back on drugs? Who knows if she’s stopped eating? Who knows if she’s just wiped out from a busy schedule? Not I. But I do know this: Lindsay looks bad. Really, really bad. And the cancer stick she’s got shoved in her maw is not helping.

I just really hope the dastardly duo is not refilling the gas tank at this moment.

She may not be smoking in this one but she’s certainly looking skinny and busted.

Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina, is desperate to get her scary-skinny daughter back home so that she can watch over her and make sure the girl is eating like a normal person, or rather, like a normal Lohan—which really isn’t normal at all.

Lindsay hasn’t even been tempted by junk food bought for her by her worried sister.

The source explained: “For a while, Ali was buying her pizza, fries, chips and all her favorites. But she just sits there, taking a few bites, then picking at the rest. She really isn’t fooling anyone.”

These people are so backwards it amazes me. Maybe Lindsay doesn’t want to eat pizza and French fries. Perhaps the Lohans should bring her a salad and some lean protein. And maybe they should focus less on force-feeding her junk food and more on getting her away from the Samantha Ronson cult machine.

It’s gone from bad to worse for Lindsay Lohan over the last few days. Weight loss, drug relapses and domestic squabbling have taken over the young starlet’s life. My question: where are the reality TV cameras? Which network dropped the ball on this one? If I were in development at VH1 or MTV, I’d have been shooting “Lindsay Lohan’s Big Fat Mess” since September. Sadly, I am not a cable TV honcho or I’d be raking in the millions right now. Sadder still, Lindsay has apparently entered the realm of the super-scary-skinny-and-depressed.

Insiders say Lindsay’s weight has dropped from 61 kilos to 43 kilos within the past few months, which, at 5ft 6 makes her seriously underweight according to her BMI.

“She looks horribly unhealthy,” said a friend, who adds that LiLo’s pals are blaming a ‘skinny pact’ with Samantha Ronson for the rapid weight loss. “Lindsay is obsessed with her weight.”

And if that’s not bad enough, apparently she’s cutting herself too:

Spotted out partying almost every night - favouring travelling with Sam to her DJ gigs and sitting in the booth over staying out of the spotlight to repair her image - Lindsay has become a source of major worry for her close friends and family, after one insisted the actress is cutting herself, saying, “She has fresh scars on her wrists.” [Source]
