I personally think she looks nearly skeletal! Cheekbones and collar bones jutting out, flesh nearly gone — but surprisingly she still looks good! o_O Anyway, these recent photos of Keira Knightley were taken at the premiere of “The Duchess”, her latest movie. She’s wearing a strapless blue gown with lace accents on the neckline and hemline. Keira Knightley, as usual, caused a commotion as she walked down the red carpet outside of the Odeon Theatre in Leicester Square, UK ^_^

Keira Knightley didn’t win the Best Leading Actress for her work in “Atonement” at the BAFTA Awards 2008, but her appearance was stunning nonetheless.

Keira looked really classy in a tiered Valentino column gown at the BAFTAs, held at the Royal Opera House in London this Sunday.

Keira Knightley is in the Winter 2007/2008 issue of Strut magazine. Here are some excerpts from her interview:

Keira on her mission to prove that she’s more than just a pretty face: “I had been doing Pirates of the Caribbean for about two years, and as much as that was extraordinary and amazing, I wanted to do something completely different. I think that’s why I chose to do [these two two films.] I did Silk first and then I had five days off and went straight onto Atonement. I wanted to play these characters. I wanted something totally different from the Pirate experience.”

Keira on nude scenes: “Some actors are absolutely not comfortable with taking their clothes off and nudity, and that’s completely fine, but I am. I’ve always been fine with it. No one is completely comfortable with her body, everyone has insecurities, but it’s not about that. It’s about, for me, my body, my face, my head, my mind — everything; that’s the tool that I have to work with. I’ve never had a problem using it. Anything I felt uncomfortable with I’ve always said no to. So I only do nudity if I’m completely comfortable with the surroundings and I’ve talked to the director and he’s explained to me exactly what he wants in the shot and I’m fine with it.” [Source]

Keira Knightley has recently revealed that one of her secrets for staying so slim is that she doesn’t eat junk food at all.

“I don’t eat junk,” says the 22-year-old actress. “I cook. I go to farmers markets in London and cook really good sort of organic foods.”

Knightley credits her figure to good genes and a good healthy diet. She’s no gym rat, though. The roles she plays in period pieces like Pirates of the Caribbean and Pride & Prejudice tend to keep her in shape. [Source]
