Katherine Heigl Does Not Know What’s Next for Izzie

Katherine Heigl’s character, Izzie, on the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has been diagnosed with skin cancer. Complications have reached her brain and an operation was called for. The actress, however, does not know if Izzie will continue to be a doctor at Seattle Grace.
“I was assuming that [Izzie would die] at one point, and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don’t know if that’s a yes or a no,” she told the Associated Press Friday at a party celebrating the ABC show’s 100th episode. “No one will tell me and I don’t know how this is going to go.”
She noted that the decision rests with the show and series creator Shonda Rhimes, who is known to value plot secrecy.
“I don’t know if I live or die,”Heigl said. “I don’t know how Izzie fares.” [Source]
The show is creating too much drama over the character of an actress who has shown no respect for the writers. But now she’s saying that she’d definitely be back at the set of Grey’s Anatomy if they still want her. I can’t understand her at all. She looks so sweet but she does not appear to think before speaking. She whines too much.
