Josh Hartnett experiences Montezuma’s Revenge first-hand

Josh Hartnett is blaming bad water for his recent trip to Cedars-Sinai. The actor was rushed to the hospital a few weeks ago after complaining of persistent GI distress (read: diarrhea and cramping) and is saying that his trip to Mexico and a few other third-world countries might have been what started it.
“It’s been reoccurring because I have been spending a lot of time in Third World countries, and I occasionally drank the water when I shouldn’t have — and sometimes it catches up with you,” the actor said on Wednesday. “I was so dehydrated that I needed to be on a couple of IVs.” [Source]
Apparently, the gut bomb didn’t slow Josh down too much. He’s been spotted out and about partying in both Miami Beach and NYC. Let’s hope he’s just drinking ginger ale and bitters.
