Halle Berry looks like she’s had a rough night with the kid

Halle Berry with baby and no makeup

Halle Berry was probably not expecting to have her picture taken at this exact moment but alas, the paparazzi never sleep. Some lucky, and excessively obtrusive photog (she’s got a sick baby with her, dude) managed to snap these unflattering shots of the Oscar-winner looking just a little bit like her character from “Jungle Fever.” Poor Halle appears to have been up all night with Nahla (who’s totes adorbs, btw), proving yet again that stars (and their offspring) really are just like us.

Halle Berry Loves Doritos

Halle Berry has a body that is to-die-for, a fabulous career, a beautiful baby, and a hunk of a boyfriend. If there is anyone in the entertainment industry who is easily enviable, it’s her. It’s obvious that she works hard to be fit and healthy. I always assumed that she’s on a strict diet but I didn’t know that she can eat junk food, too! She explains in Harper’s Bazaar that she has one guilty pleasure.

Halle also explains that she has to watch her food anyway as a diabetic, but she does have one little guilty pleasure food she likes to indulge in while watching TV.

“I like Doritos,” she admits. “I’m usually watching The Biggest Loser eating Doritos.” [Source]

Jennifer Aniston, Mariah Carey and others turn 40 and survive

Jennifer Aniston on set in New York

Call off the dogs! Apparently, turning 40 isn’t the worst thing ever anymore. Now that a number of our favorite female stars have turned forty and are still finding work, it’s easier than ever to rationalize being honest about your age. And it gets better! You can even feel good about yourself beyond the big 4-0.

Mariah Carey just did it — do you see her crying?

Of course not. Husband Nick Cannon — 12 years her junior — just whisked her off to Barbados and Miami for the big day. The songstress still showed she could party like her 20 something counterparts at Cabana One in Coconut Grove until dawn.

Jennifer Aniston did it too — in February. With the wheat blond hair, trim body and crinkle-free baby blues, the actress looks better than she did in her Friends days. There’s an air of victorious sophistication that’s settled in now. Her face tells a story: I’ve married and divorced Brad Pitt, been publicly humiliated and still emerged as American royalty.

Cindy Crawford recently used Allure as some kind of comeback vehicle. Seeing her 43-year-old naked body swathed in nothing but shaving cream was cause for celebration. Forget furniture, start hawking lingerie.

Fellow ’80s supermodel Linda Evangelista, also 43, improves with time. Can a face get any more chiseled?

And the queen of the sexy 40-somethings — new mom Halle Berry, 42, just bared (almost all) in a beach-side photo shoot for her new eponymous perfume. Nice wet T-shirt. Are you sure you didn’t have a surrogate deliver your kid? Halle-lujah! [Source]

So forty is the new twenty, which means that I’m still in diapers. Goodie. Now if someone could just point me towards my bottle.

Hally Berry Wants Sibling for Baby Nahla

The beautiful Halle Berry appeared on Ellen and admitted that she wants another child.

Still, Berry isn’t ruling out that a brother or sister could be in the future for her daughter with model Gabriel Aubry. “My mind says yes,” she tells DeGeneres, “but the rest isn’t up to me so we’ll see.” [Source]

I don’t think she’d have any problem with this dream because her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, has been heard talking about giving Nahla a sibling. It’s only a matter of time.

Halle Berry’s post-baby body is a must have

Halle Berry’s post-baby body is a must have

Halle Berry was allowed nine months to be a little short of perfect. But as soon as she popped out baby number one, she was expected to be back on track pronto. Halle had very little time to get her body back before shooting Esquire’s 2008 Sexiest Woman Alive cover. With the help of trainer Ramona Braganza she did just fine. Braganza talked about Halle’s routine in an recent interview with VIVmag.

On Berry’s workout regime:
“I started gently training Halle a few weeks after she had her daughter, as she wanted to get back to a healthy weight. That was our initial goal, but a second reason surfaced when she was voted Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive. Neither of us could believe it — of all years to be chosen! We had four months to prepare for the photo shoot, but Halle’s first priority was her child. She didn’t want to do anything unhealthy or extreme. We focused on her legs and arms with a goal of toning overall and dropping some pounds.”

On the outcome:
“She lost most of her baby weight and did the shoot with sculpted lean arms and sizzling hot legs! She dropped weight consistently (2 lbs a week over twelve weeks), which was also thanks to her healthy eating habits.”

On her diet:
Halle likes to eat foods made fresh in her home, which is a perfect way to control the ingredients. Each meal is prepared simply with lean proteins, lots of vegetables and complex carbohydrates. Being diabetic, she stays away from refined sugars, alcohol, and fruit juices. Instead she prefers to eat fruit and drink lots of water.” [Source]

Halle Berry looking good

Halle Berry out and about post baby

Oscar-winner Halle Berry has been keeping a low profile lately but was recently spotted out and about looking absolutely fabulous. We might be seeing more of Halle soon since preparations are under way for her new film, “Who Is Doris Payne?” Let’s hope she and partner Gabriel Aubrey aren’t making preparations of their own. When Halle was still pregnant with their first child, she was already talking about baby numero duo.

“Based on my age, I think we’d really have to try again.” Halle said. “We always talked about having two children. Whether or not we actually make that happen is left to be seen, but that would be our intent. That is for sure.”

Celebrity diets - who lost weight in 2008?

For the New Year, as usual, most magazines and tabloids talked about celebrity bodies, who lost and who gained weight in 2008, and so on. Let’s take a look at some of the “celebrity diet secrets” that helped stars lose weight during the past year.

Britney Spears Performs On ABC's

Britney Spears: The pop princess packed on the pounds during an emotional rough patch in fall 2007. No one would have been wiser had Spears, 27, not donned a bikini while stumbling about the VMAs stage.

How she did it: No stranger to dance routines, Brit lost the 20 thanks to intense cardio three times a week (think lunges, jump squats and general boogieing). As for the nacho chips, they were replaced by a 1,200-calorie-a-day delivery plan, Sunfare.

Halle Berry reveals her body-after-baby diet and workout

Halle Berry got back into shape just two months after giving birth to her first child. Apparently, her secret to losing her pregnancy pounds is just eating healthy and exercising (and probably being in love too, as she just got engaged to her boyfriend and baby-daddy Gabriel Aubry).

In terms of diet, Berry is eating lots of vegetables, lean proteins and complex carbohydrates, as well as drinking a large quantity of water.

The 41-year-old actress also works out for 60 minutes, five days a week with celebrity trainer Ramona Braganza.

Their sessions include three cardio segments – on the elliptical, as well as kickboxing and then a stairs or hill climb – then also does a strength-training routine that include abdominal work and leg exercises. [Source]

Here are some pictures of Halle at the 15th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles last week.
