It’s hard being young, beautiful and steadily employed on a hit TV show. Even superstars like Blake Lively feel a bit down every now and again. The “Gossip Girl” star recently opened up about her insecurities in an interview with Allure.

On Her Low Self Esteem: “I feel like a tranny a lot of the time. I don’t know, I’m … large? They put me in six-inch heels, and I tower over every man. I’ve got this long hair and lots of clothes and makeup on. I just feel really big a lot of the time, and I’m surrounded by a lot of tiny people. I feel like a man sometimes.” [Source]

Poor, baby. Not only is Blake thin and fashionable, she’s also taller than the average bear. I’m crying for her. Seriously.

Blake Lively was spotted filming some scenes for the new season of Gossip Girl at the beach in Far Rockaway, NY yesterday (June 26). She was dressed in a gray silk mini-dress accessorized with a straw tote bag, red coral bracelet and gladiator style sandals.

Even though Blake’s character Serena has split with her boyfriend Dan (played by Penn Badgley, who is also her boyfriend in real life) in season one’s last episode, it seems they will be reunited on screen in the show’s season two (which will premiere on September 1). I can’t wait!
