Jimmy Fallon gets into a fist fight over pizza
This story makes me sad because I really like Jimmy Fallon and I know through friends that Jimmy Fallon is a really swell guy. Still, he’s only hurting his swell-guy image by name-calling and fist-fighting with New York City restaurant owners.
While Fallon didn’t tweet about the fight (another Twitterer who supposedly witnessed the eviction tweeted about that) he did say that someone in the restaurant took his comments in a recent NY online pizza tasting the wrong way, thinking that he was disparaging the place’s pies when in reality, he likes them.
But not anymore. After being treated “rudely,” he told all his Twitter followers never to go to any of the restaurants run by the owners of Posto, adding, “Don’t mess with the Fallon Family.” [Source]
Really, it sounds like this all just boils down to a miscommunication and it stinks because Posto is great and Fallon is, as stated above, swell. Now both Jimmy and the restaurant have to suffer because of bad tweeting and online food polls.
