Britney Spears’ dad uses the Bible to keep her under control

Britney Spears’ dad Jamie Spears has taken the reigns in a major way. He is determined to keep Brit on the straight and narrow during her tour in an attempt to keep her from gaining weight again. Oh, and he probably wants to avoid another mental collapse too.
A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jamie is determined nothing can go wrong with Britney’s comeback. He’s making sure she reads the Bible for at least an hour during her quiet time before she goes on stage and has banned her from using the internet. He is even monitoring what she eats by insisting on none of her beloved junk food on the rider. [Source]
It sounds totally controlling and weird but seriously, do we want to see poor Brit go all batty and shave her head again? I know I don’t. Looks like Jamie is doing what he needs to do in order to keep his cash cow healthy. Perhaps he’s also acting as a concerned parent. What a nice thought.
