Mischa Barton uses blog to dispel scary-skinny rumors

I really wanted to give Mischa Barton the benefit of the doubt. I really wanted to believe that Pilates was behind her weight-loss and that she’s been dropping pounds and shaping up in a healthy, responsible way. Then I saw this picture, which somehow slipped by me in recent months, and now I’m as worried as everyone else. Mischa is blogging daily to put minds at ease but methinks the lady doth protest too much.
“Like right now I’m supposedly too skinny. I just had to release a comment about how I’m eating enough and I’m healthy,” says Barton, who nibbled on a sweet onion tart with mushroom and a burger during the event. “I’m more concerned for young girls these days… and I think it’s important that you say I’m comfortable and I’m fine and you should to be too because it’s, like, silly… You’re always too skinny or too fat or too something.” [Source]
Like, she’s totally right. You, like, completely have to love yourself. You also have to love food as fuel for your body. Nibbling is OK for a while, Mischa, but sooner or later you actually have to take a full bite.
