Ashlee Simpson doesn’t overthink baby-weight

Ashlee Simpson is one of many female celebs dealing with post-baby weight loss these days. However, unlike most of her new-mommy peers, she isn’t struggling to lose the extra pounds gained during pregnancy. Ashlee claims to be taking a “do-nothing” approach to the issue and it seems to be working.

As for the actual dieting and working out, Ashlee is a big fan of Nutrifit snacks and meals, of which she sneaks in as many as she can. As per her own words, she does not keep by one single diet, but tries to eat as healthy as possible. For instance, if husband Pete Wentz brings home pizza at night, she too has a slice, but only after she literally covers it in vegetables. As far as working out is concerned, Ashlee goes by the teachings of a book called “Body After Baby: The Simple 30-Day Plan to Lose Your Baby Weight,” which places emphasis on spending a lot time of with the baby, working out and bonding at the same time. No one will want to believe this, least of all me, but maybe it’s the truth. Some women just have an easier time dropping their pregnancy weight, especially when they don’t overthink things and no one has ever accused Ashlee of being much of a thinker.
