Anna Friel’s let her hair down
One little lady who enjoyed herself a tad too much at the War Child concert was Ms Anna Friel. The British actress, who is currently enjoying much success over in the States, had recently mentioned that the pressure to stay thin is actually worse in the UK. Talking at the Elle Style Awards on Monday night, Anna said:
“I actually find the pressure when I am back home here far greater than in LA. There are so many thin women here, much thinner than in America.”
Well, she may be small, but tell us that after a few drinks.The 32-year-old Pushing Daisies actress was seen lunging at the venue’s security staff when they refused to let her friend enter the VIP bar. An onlooker told:
“Anna looked completely battered, she could hardly string a sentence together. She tried to get her pal into the after party, but security weren’t having any of it.”
The source added:
“She was having trouble walking in a straight line and kept bashing into other guests, stepping on one girl’s foot so hard she cried out.”
Well we can see the pressure is definitely showing on her.
