Karolina Kurkova was called “fat” by the Brazilian media

Karolina Kurkova, one of the world’s hottest models, was called “fat” by the Brazilian media.
Kurkova was slammed in the country for appearing in a bikini with what critics called “back fat, love handles and cellulite” at the Cia Maritima show during Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
An article in a Brazilian paper about 5′11″ Kurkova described how “shocked” the audience was when she appeared looking uncharacteristically chubby with “cellulite on her butt.” [Source]
I don’t even want to comment on how ridiculous this is. Just because she’s looking healthy, they’re calling her “fat”?! Have they already forgotten Ana Carolina Reston, the Brazilian model who died less than two years ago from anorexia?

She’s gained weight, her face is gorgeous, and some will argue her body is gorgeous even now! She models for Victoria’s Secret right?

My God, she is like a 40 years old woman! She’s not healty at all. BTW, she could be considered healty and slim by an USA citizen point of view. We know US people have weight problems.

I don’t see the cellulite. Yeah, I see she’s put on a few pounds, but even so, no cellulite.

Even if she has put on weight the Brazilian media should not be calling her ‘fat’. My god, what example does this set to our children?
Her body looks better than most, but just because she isn’t starving herself and does not look emaciated, she gets slated.

She does look fat..for a model. Seriously you can get better back views from girls at the beach. She is getting paid to stay in shape and she has obviously slacked off. Why the hell would someone pay to go to a fashion show and look at that!

What’s your problem with 40 year year old women?
And how do u know she’s not healthy?
….
She may have gotten some weight but VS products are sold for normal people. Cellulite is normal, of course you can treat it, but I don’t know why this simple fact had all this repercussion.
