Here’s Allegra Versace with her mother Donatella and Janet Jackson at the “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night (May 5th).
As you probably know, Allegra has been battling anorexia for a few years now. In these pictures, she still appears to be very thin, but she looks a lot healthier than she did last year. She’s such a beautiful girl, I’m really happy that she’s slowly recovering!

Allegra is the perfect example of how judgmental people are. For instance lets say we judge someone like hayden p or hilary duff for being “too fat” well it may not hurt the celebrity- but for US viewing it! Think if the girls reading this look like hilary duff or hayden and have their bodies- we call them fat- and then those girls feel like theyre too big because random people think so. So they start trying to lose weight and could easily spark an eating disorder. I know first hand cause that was my life and i still battle with eating disorders- hey thats why im on this site but shouldnt be- just like thousands of other girls viewing this. who are we to say someone is too big- maybe the ones saying it thing THEYRE too big. but it isnt right- though we cant stop it. just think about it guys!
Goodness… how did Allegra Versace’s dress get mixed up with one of my mom’s bridesmaid’s dresses from 1985? I thought those were all either destroyed or relegated to my kid sister’s dress-up box!

She does look a bit better, her eyes don’t look so sunken in, she seems to have a naturally lithe frame but still, her arms look healthier as well. Having read a little of her background story, trying to cope with an ED while facing other heavy pressures like taking control of half the Versace name…there’s a lot of stress factors there that can work against someone trying to recover. Good luck to her.
