Katie Holmes - scary skinny?
The latest issue of In Touch Weekly magazine has a picture of Katie Holmes on their cover (taken a month ago at the opening of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum in LA) with the caption “scary skinny”.
I’ll leave it to you to decide if Katie is too skinny or not, by checking more pictures of her from that event after the jump.

the cover picture has nothing to do with the rest of the pictures. to me she looks great.

Hiii!! I think she does look skinny but not so scarily skinny. It is really suspicious how Tom’s girls get skinnier when they are with him!!! ummm…and not only this but they become much more conservative when dressing up too!!!

i think there is some kind of sadness in her eyes. she looks tired and her meek smiles seem forced. she definitely looks too thin. look at her breastbone. people should not have visible protruding bones like that. the size of the cover photo has also accentuated shadows on her body which make bones appear more eminent.
she looks more sad than great. you could easily hook your fingers over those collarbones in the last pic. is that health and happiness? i hope not.

IT SAMES LIKE EVERYONE WANTS TO BECOME OR BE SKINNY. I THINK BEING SKINNY IS SEXY BUT, SCARY SKINNY IT LOOKS VERY UNHEALTHY AND A SIGN OF OBSESSION .

She’s always been a thin girl, even back in the Dawson’s Creek days. She’s also close to 6 feet tall and with her narrow frame and small breasts the overall look is extremely slender but not unhealthy. Her arms look slim but athletic and she doesn’t have that scary bony chest look; if she did it would definitely be visible without breasts to cover it up.
Makes sense that Tom’s women seem to drop pounds. The man is pint-sized, standing maybe 5′6. It kind of sucks to tower over the guy you’re involved with. I’m sure there are exceptions but generally women like to feel smaller and more delicate than their partners and since we can’t really shrink (beyond slouching and compromising our posture, and our footwear), the only option is losing weight. Apart from the few who are extremely secure or like that sort of thing, most men aren’t too keen on being with women who make them feel like the smaller, more delicate one…
