Michelle Rodriguez was spotted having lunch at Cafe Med on Thursday (June 28). She ate her food while talking on the phone, and then left with a very cute little dog (I don’t know if it’s hers or she’s just walking it for her friend).

After spending 23 days in jail, Paris Hilton took a (well-deserved) vacation and flew to Hawaii, where she spent some quality time admiring herself in a small makeup mirror, relaxing and generally reflecting on her life…

Nicole Richie is on the cover of Nylon Magazine’s August 2007 issue. In the interview, she denies once again being an anorexic:

“It’s really sad how obsessed America is with weight. It’s sick. I’ve never gone a day without putting food in my mouth. I’ve never sewn my mouth shut. I’ve never gone on a liquid diet. So I want to know why I’m the face for a problem.”

Nicole says that she doesn’t want to be looked at as a role model by young girls:

“I don’t walk around pretending that I’m perfect, so I don’t think anyone should hold me to that. The dangerous thing is that there are 16, 17, 18-year-olds that people consider to be role models. I’m so happy I wasn’t famous back then. You’d think I was the f**king devil.”

She also spoke about her heroin addiction, insisting that she never reached the “crazy crack head” level that some of her peers did (sleeping under a bridge with no shoes on? haha…).

“When I pictured heroin, I pictured some crazy crackhead with no shoes under a bridge. You never think that is going to be you.”

At a first glance, these ads for the Brazilian Itambe Fit Light yogurt seem to be sending a body-acceptance message. Three overweight women are featured in classic movie scenes from Basic Instinct, The Seven-Year Itch and American Beauty with plus-sized models in place of Sharon Stone, Marilyn Monroe and Mena Suvari. You might think there’s a positive message behind that: fat can be beautiful too.

But the ads‘ tagline says something else: “Forget about it. Men’s preference will never change. Fit Light Yogurt.”

Many (American) people felt offended by these ads and consider them sizeist and sexist. I personally think that if they really wanted to portray being fat as something ugly, they should have chosen really obese women and not these plus-sized models who actually look good in the photos (my favorite is the American Beauty one)… What do you think??

Mandy Moore is resisting the pressure to be skinny. She says that for her, size doesn’t matter, and that she acts like her own role model.

“I feel better mentally — even if I don’t look any different — when I’m putting forth the effort to exercise. But having said that, it’s not going to push me away if I want to have a cookie at the end of the day. You have to reward yourself every now and then.”Moore, 23, who works with The 5-Factor Diet author Harley Pasternak, no longer gets offended when she’s asked to lose weight for a movie role. “It’s not a personal thing, it’s something that I have to do for my job: shape up a little bit.”

She continued: “If I have to slim down now for a film, I don’t mind. I just look at it like I’m just changing my hair or something. If that’s what I have to do for the character, then that’s what I have to do.” [Source]

According to Yahoo! Buzz, Kelly Ripa is one of the most searched for female celebrities this week, just after Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba, Hilary Duff and Jessica Biel.

Here are some bikini photos of Kelly Ripa. She has given birth to three children, yet she’s in great shape and she looks fabulous (some say she is too thin). What do you think about her, is she too skinny or not?

Kelly Ripa was featured in the May issue of Shape Magazine, where she showed off her wonderfully fit body and answered a few questions about health, diet and exercise:

“It wasn’t easy (exercising 5 days a week), in fact, I almost gave up in the beginning. But after a couple of weeks someone told me how great my arms looked! I’m so vain, that’s all it took. I was hooked.”Kelly is not big on breakfast. Instead she always begins her day with coffee at home and then a cup of Starbucks regular coffee with half and half during the show. Her first meal of the day is at 10 a.m. – usually a salad and a small turkey sandwich or a BLT (with turkey bacon) on whole-wheat bread. Her afternoon snack is a handful of almonds and a pear. For dinner she eats salads and fresh veggies with smaller servings of fish or steak.

The family chef has also helped Kelly realize how easy home cooking can be…she even has signature dish. “It’s Jamie Oliver’s minestrone soup,” she says. “But instead of pasta, I use chickpeas for extra protein. The kids think it looks like a tiger because of the purple cabbage and carrots. It’s delicious. I like it because it’s really easy.”

Kelly makes sure to carve out downtime for herself and her family. “I’m a creature of warm weather and so are the kids,” she explains. “We grill; go for long walks, buy ice cream. We never have a schedule, and we don’t make any plans. A weekend out there (beach home on Long Island) feels like a month – its pure magic.”

“If I can begin an exercise program after such a huge break (10 years), anyone can.”

“On the show hair and makeup people are paid to make me look great, while I just sit there, but the results I get from exercise come from my hard work, no one else’s. That gives me an enormous sense of accomplishment.” [Source]
